The Mainsail is a truly special event venue in Beaufort, North Carolina, created from the former Beaufort Elementary School gym where so many local memories first took shape.

 

Once a place for pep rallies, assemblies and everyday school life, the gym has been thoughtfully renovated into a welcoming space for weddings, private events, and community gatherings. The name The Mainsail – the name of the school’s yearbook – is located off of Sea Dog Way, the school's mascot. All a nod to the stories and moments that defined generations of students and now continue in a new way.
